One of the major challenges related to oculardrug delivery technology is to obtain and maintain a therapeutic level at the site of action for an extended period of time.

A huge part of drug delivery is the speed at which it can take place. This is especially important for those who deal in very complex and sensitive formulations and who have to ensure that the drug is released into the body before the required time.
