Tourism plays the role of a significant economic multiplier and its role becomes critical since India has to grow at rapid rates and create jobs. In August 2020, the town of Ayodhya is one of the most important religious places in the world, with direct connections from Lucknow, Varanasi, and other religious places in the nearby areas provided by Indian Railways.
