Significant Rise in Number of Weed Pollen Sensitization to Boost Demand for Allergic Rhinitis Drugs
Allergic rhinitis results from an allergic reaction to substances such as dust or pollen. When you have allergic rhinitis, your body's normal defense against infection and diseases (your immune system) will respond to an irritant as though it were dangerous. Antibodies are particular proteins in your blood, which are normally produced to combat infections and viruses. The antibodies made to fight germs or bacteria cause a release of chemicals called cytokines that cause swelling and inflammation. This long-term treatment mitigates symptoms of allergic rhinitis, which has prompted various manufacturers to R&D on the approach, In June 2019, ALK, a research-driven pharmaceutical company, completed the marketing authorization procedure for its tree sublingual allergy immunotherapy tablet ITULAZAX in 17 European countries.
